I tried to read in circuit no success removed all needles to get to the DIP S93c56 desolder chip easy read and write afterwards
Any advice to read & write in circuit i used this connection from enigma:encouragement:

you can read it in-circuit, choose 93C56 16 bit

Will next time solder directly to eeprom legs and see if I get a good read

on that dash i use dp3 with clip directly. you have to cut a small piece of plastic from the frame to have full acces at the eeprom.

mine has the dip chip need to remove needles total strip when i remove chip clean read and write in circuit from backside connection no success ...:bounce:

For 93c46, c56 chip i made the clip to read backside, a good clip like 3m an soldered the wires to it in mirror, 99 % succes read ( for xtrail 2002 need to chop the back plastic cover). For model, 93c66 smd like i said, unscrew the side screws that holds the top plastic of needle speed and turn it to the left (max 30 degre) to have more space, chop the plastic above the chip.
