new key for corsa

hi , i wondered if anyone knew where i cud get a new key cut for a w reg 2000 vauxhall corsa and also coded for the immobliser, in the colchester/essex area,,,,vauxhall have quoted a fortune and even a link i got for independent locksmith s quoted 65 for a copy...i have the secruity code and was just lookin for a copy incase any thing happened to my orgina;l.................many thanks in advance:thrasher::thrasher::thrasher:

it s not stuck m8 i ve got one key just wanted a copy ...just in case

AFAIK you cant copy the transponder for it, it has to be programmed to the car

if you've got the car pass info, get a blank key cut from your original for ?15, then get a blank chip for ?5 and code it using opcom, ?20 tops.
