Using replacement NEC for Merc ELV

Anybody else get random results from using these emulators?

I always like to keep the steering lock functioning on the cars I do and when the NEC is damaged I replace them with
this emulator.
Sometimes it will work like the original chip and drive the motor and other times it wont drive the motor.
The car always starts.

It's like there are 2 different versions of this chip, same packaging.

they all shit.
in the beginning they was oke. (used them like 3 times) but after some time (before 1 year) 1 was damage.
but latelly i have allot of customer that that have problem with elv.
i open them and find that others have replaced the chip with this emu.
for me is better because i sell customer a brent new elv.
