Hello guys, i read a lot for this ecu and now that i want to know is :
Can i do ID without unlocking the ECU just to see if its already locked with Kess v2 Clone ?
And do i have 100% to solder resistors or i just can put them to my BDM Probes. Thanks in advance for your help ! :)

HI.

I have a car with this unit and it is blocked.
I have kess4.036, it has a function to read eeprom, when reading this eeprom and then writing the function is to unlock, without using resistors right?

i think with kess clone, i have to unlock on bood mode with power supply.... i saw some1 posted i video how he unlock OBD with clone software but it has virtual reading... unfortunately im using soft 2.47 and it hasn't virtual reading .... that why i was asking if i have to solder the resistors for most safetly, or it enought safetly to solder them to my Probes and do the job that way, because i saw a lot of ppl doing it that way without soldering directly to PCM. That why i was asking for advice .

For Me I read with service mode with K-tag , I read Eeprom frist then i Unlock him with "PCR2.1-Simos8 Unlocker 1.1" Then Write EEprom After I can Write what I need

I have kess firware 4.036 and I also have the k-tag.
Redonerj you say you read with a k-tag on a bench without opening and putting resistors? After reading eeprom, you pass that software and write again.
I have an extra unit like this and it will help me to try it out before I go to my car.
