dreambox 800 hd clone help with flash

Hi all,

I have an old nab image on my dm 800hd and trying to update image, I have tried serial flash and response is
got wrong response from box HTTP/1.0 404 not found server; yahd v1.0

can anyone help me whith what this means please and how do i get round it...

Is it plugged into a router/network?

Plug in both cables.

I've learned this the hard way as well.

Hi mate,

Be careful with the image you flash in to your clone.
The clones need a patched image, otherwise your box will gave a "CA......erro" message.

What's the bootloader of your Image?

You can only put an image into the flash that has the same bootloader.
If your image still works your lucky and you can flash the new firmware through the webinterface.(if the box is on your router)
Start the old image, go in the menu and switch the box off via the menu. Wait till you see a message on your tv telling you that "it's save now to unplug your dreambox".
Now press the "power on"button and keep it pressed till you see a message on the display "STOP".
It will show you also the ip adress off your box.
Don't restart the dreambox, leave it showing the "stop" message in the display !!!!
Now type the ip address from the display in your webbrowser (eg internet explorer, firefox etc). The "flash web interface" will apear. (this is not the usual web interface ).
At the bottom of the page select the firmware upgrade. A new window will popup.
Klick on "Durchsuchen/Search" and look for the new image you want to flash on your computer.
This MUST be an image with the extension NFI (like NabiloBlackhole.nfi)
Then press the "FLASH" button. It looks like nothing is happening, but just sit and wait a while.
Don't unplug the dream while you're flashing !!!!!!
The box will be flashed now and will restart.
If not start the box manualy AFTER the completion of the flash procedure.

I can't flash my clone! I use dreamup with no response and via network my clone box can't get any ip adress?
