How to put Diagnosing Mode

Hi
Can anyone suggest
I can’t put a Manual Renault Clio in to Diagnosing Mode it’s a card system
I’ve tried different options but no luck

driver door open
put in neutral (P if auto)
blinkers ON
fasten driver seat belt
hold start button for 10 seconds

now ignition is pemanently on
