Sounds to complicated for me mate ....

Why not just add on 1234...to the last 4 digits .... Of the barcode Starting C70000.. (and only this barcode ).. which as I have explained ... is on very few clarion radios .. and certainly not on them for about Five years ...

Qh! the algo ... Well if the number you quoted . was 1234 and you add 1234 to it .... you get 2468 Ah! your thinking ... how do you enter an 8.... you don't mate ... Any number that is greater than 6... you simply subtract 6 from it giving you the same code .....2462.. piece of piss I would say ...

PS sorry if I burst your bubble .......

no the keycode dosn?t greater then 6,but the last serial is a 9 ist the code 7
SN 6669 is the code 1237,where your problem is very easy an SN 6666 is the code 1234 and not 2462!!!

Don't worry he got stung at M-H-M the next day!

For other members this site is sooo worth paying the ?10/year to.

I never said you were wrong....(even in colour)....I merely mentioned that adding 1234 to the last four numbers then subtracting 6 from anything greater than it was easier to explain ....:D
