ews 4.3 , corrupt after read? please help!

today i tried add key on wes 4.3 mini 2006 year cooper S

on vvdi prog i have adaptor for this never any issue, but today it kept giving error "chip crack failure"

i tried around 12-13 time when suddenly it gave me data! data looks good in AK90 to make key, has key data and VIN etc, however now car cranks only and no fire

in DME says "ews random code error" , i tried to sync but it wouldnt and someone told me ews 4 never need sync.

i looked at eeprom data i read and it seems there is 3 missing lines of data some way into the file, can someone check this for me or help fix



Can i replace 4.3 with EWS 3 hardware, and copy just ISN/VIN to ews 3 and sync to start car? or something else need to be done here, cant find any spare 4.3 hardware online.

yes u can, replace 4.3 with 3 hw, Copy VIN and ISN ,synch, make new key and start car

did you also manage to see VIN AND ISN was present in my dump? i wonder why it was damaged????

Any ews3 unit is ok.
Right now i am not able to to check vin and isn dont have computer here.

Also, it is not first time i hear ews4.3 is bricked with vvdi prog adapter .
Dont be lazy frend, next time solder few wires and read it, don't need to have adapter.
Much much safer then put on adapter and read.

Didnt work :( just says ECU denied access when i try to sync it, and i made new key in slot 1 and same issue. will find whole set to change on car

This should work , you have to make new key and sync DDE-EWS ,test and report.
