ML W164 350 v6 2006

Car runs poor, and shuts down ignition, 3 of the 6 cilindres.

I cloned the ecu.
And it runs on this replacement, same as before on 3 out of 6 cyl.

So either the software is corrupted, or there is another problem.

The ecus dont have exact matching numbers. Does this matter?
I have seen the 272 ecus offered to fit all.
And does anyone have a full bdm file? A2721535579

Not realy. But i am still greatfull for your attention to this problem. So, thank you!
I never worked with damos files.

Tommorow I will try to program the donor ecu, directly to the car, using Autel.
Just to make sure that the org ecu software is causing this problem.
If yes, i will look for a matching bdm dump again.

Greetings Robbert

I think you need to look under a microscope and solder all the legs of the chips(not soldered well), I think the firmware has nothing to do with it. This often happens, try to look carefully with a needle . In your mail, I dropped the file look, good luck.

hello, you have to replace the ecu! This is a constant problem! You can use the bdm 100. Or you have to pick up the bga processor and re-solder it. The problem is that in these control units the bga balls of the processor go off.
