I just bought a BMW E46 330d.
The car has a Stage 1 on it. I need the original file to pass MOT.
Can anyone help me?

Attached you receive the current file.
Maybe someone can tell me if the Stage 1 map is any good and if EGR is turned off?

At least you can check before posting!

BTW, the mod is terrible... duration is altered from 7 mg to the end...
The EGR was not touched...

And finally... i don't know how you read this file (mean which tool), BUT! write my file, checking the option FULL WRITE!

But you can first to check the differences between your file and his file...

Hi bobolin4o, today I tried to write your file. Unfortunately it didn't work.

First I got a message "Checksum not ok..". Clicked ok.

Then the attached message appeared.805916

I tried to read the current software and then wrote the existing software angain. I got the Checksum message as well, but nevertheless, writing the existing software did work.

sorry to ask thins newbie question, but what went wrong and what do I habe to do?

The file is completely original, same reference, same car, the checksum is fine.
I can say, that i've flashed such ECU with completely different software with FG without problem...
Anyway... try to flash this file with option "tables", it is your file with tuning maps restored to ori, the checksum is ok.
The other thing, if again came with error... turn ignition off after identification, wait 10 sec, give it on again and then flash.
