are you certain its ic card 1049 , ABCDEF series ? ive had these on and around this year mainly on ic card 1125 using va6 1234Q5678H series and not ABCDEF series.
if it is VA6 then try cutting key as 433124 on ic card 1125 , 1234Q5678H series.
lishi va6 tool will confirm 100% which section it is on , if you feel wafers on both the A and B lift arms its ic card 1125 , 1234Q5678H series , if all wafers are felt only the A or B arm and not on both then its ic card 1049 , ABCDEF series.

I'm sure it's VA2 because the height of the last cut.
VA6 has only 4 heights and VA2 is 6.
The last cut is higher than the first. So it should not be 4 (Highest for VA6)
Or if the blade is in hand, ciliper will confirm VA2 or VA6

I just get one Modus need to cut new blade. Normally Renault use VA6 but this one use VA2 - ABCDEF 1049.
The highest cut of VA2 is: 3.10mm and VA6 is: 3.35mm
I use caliper to take the highest cut and the last cut to determine what is the cut profil.
Cut as VA2 1049 work perfect in door and ignition.

2 weks ago I had modus AKL and was 1049 so maybe all Modus use 1049
About this key maybe Rapid is right and use 1125

on modus the only time i had a lock on ic card 1049 was when customer had changed the lock set themselves , as i say they will be out there and if build factory only has va2 locks on shelf then they will fit them, also some differs of ic 1049 will work on ic 1125 and vice versa especially with multiple c heights in lock.
AKL situations its easy to tell difference , simply insert va6 tool , if wafers felt on both A and B lift arms then va6 , if all wafers felt on just A or B arm and not both then va2, it doesnt get much easier to id which you have on akl.
with 508 on this year ive only seen them with va6 on them in uk, but even so im never complacent and always stick lishi va6 in lock to confirm 100% .

Rapid Lishi VA6 read it like 1125 some wafers on A some on B
but when I cut the key under 1125 on ignition is OK but is not possible to insert the key on the door lock - the same like if I cut Berlingo on 1125
After that I decoded and cut the key under 1049 and work fine on ignition and door lock
Maybe this is problem on my cutting machine SEC E9 keys cut under 1125 can't be inserted in some door lock but always work on the ignition

As Rapid explained VA6 read it like 1125 but when I cut the key under 1125 is not possible to insert the key in the door lock and I decided that is 1049 cut under 1049 and work fine
so looks like Modus is like other Renault 1125 but I have problem with my machine on some 1125 locks but not in all 1125 strange

ive seen this on some machines where tip cut is too steep and left too sharp, certainly sounds like a cutting issue , even with ninja laser you get the odd one that wont insert in door , after a good brushing on brushing wheel and some filing all is good.

I prefere using the Va2 menu, to cut these.
And after cutting, i use this same Va2 cutting menu, to cut the peaks, opposite the cuts. On a second cutiing run.
Keys regular 8 cut, and a second run, with a 3 or 2 in the same shim space.
That will reduce the labyrint created by the steep peaks between cuts.
I use a 2mm cutter
