You must use K-tag and bdm frame backu up write. Maybe write ori map and car will start

I think this is a facelift e60 525D, which is EDC16CP35
And no more communicate via OBD

1. You need to remove the ECU, and open.
2. You need KTAG, and BDM frame or just directly solder the wires (or adapter) for the right pins

3. First try to read ECU via KTAG, because you original EEPROM content is important
4. Try to flash again your ECU via KTAG, just the FLASH that previously not worked with KESSV2 via OBD! and try with your car!

5. If this is not help, you need full BDM backup, and write all, but the EEPROM need to edit by someone that can help (your old ISN, Miles, Injector codes etc...)

Or write new ISN to EWS, and SYNC with ECU

Dont write a OBD FLASH via KTAG...

Also you dont need to edit EEPROM,

Just write BDM FILE TO .FLS with KTAG and sync EWS-DDE/DME

I had the same issue with opel insignia, i failed the write and the car couldn't start(with chinise kess). I solved it with recovery option. Connect the car use option recovery and write back the file you read from the car. Good Luck!
