Hello,
I was repairing two remotes from Rover 75. I fixed them both and they were operating but I 'washed' the label from one of them. Now customer needed change shell in the one without label. So I changed shell and battery, tested remote on table couple of times for signal and now ot doesn't work, it lost its sync. The second one is working fine.
Is it possible to somehow obtain barcode for this remote having the second original key with barcode? Is there some pattern for it, that they will look simillar?
I found this https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/612692-rover-75-bar-code-need?p=3088880&viewfull=1#post3088880
thread and you can see the 2 original remotes differ only by 1 digit. So maybe it's a chance. If not, I will buy new remote but customer is not willing to afford new, that's why I want to try reprogram this but without label it became complicated...

Without the sticker I think you knacker pal
just buy a 2nd hand board off the well known auction site and calculate the barcode
job done

WITH kdiy you can generate new remote with barcode ... Cheaper option i believe ..
TOAF software works great for adding these remotes with just the white label inside the key .
Otherwise get secondhand key from somewhere and use the remote..

I was browsing keydiy list but found only for Mini? Which one exactly I need generate?

I even think I did make a photo but it was more than 1 month ago, no time to search now, this is not so important to dig so long :P I tried some different kind of manual resync stuff but none work, door lock is also broken.

Very correct sir with the info which is the missing part from the post is HOW..........
The way is make the KEYDIY remote then it makes the barcode but they are all made as N (Rover) (or where unless they have fixed it)
the part you need to learn is how to change the barcode for the car model BMW/LANDROVER if you need these
It not as easy as changing the 1st letter...X (BMW) G(LANDROVER)....the trick is to work out the white sticker label number from the barcode produced by Keydiy then change it.
Thats where the hard bit starts lol.......for this you need to make a remote with the keydiy and compare the barcodes they make with the calculator on DK made by Paul
it will all be clear after.....see below

FFFFFFFFDB94BC8
X246B43246B42FF-
FFFFFFFFDB94BC8
G246B43246B42FFJ
FFFFFFFFDB94BC8
So now you know the white sticker label if it was on a keydiy remote lol
just make the barcode lol

p1et use the free TOAF software with some k line cable for rover 75 .
you can erase all old barcodes and you only need white sticker in old remote to add it to the vehicle or i think find your missing white label code as well ...
