What tests are you trying to do? Just power it, it will always need the car for correct pairing

I know that...read pin code in display, pair with unit. For test all functions in unit....i guess....
After, write again 24c64 with pin car customer.

With all Opel is best to work in the car, on bench is crazy these days :)

I checked my CD30 & CD70 test display. Works on the bench for 20 seconds before DISPAY SAFE. Its better than no display.
Pins connected as follows: Left side is Opel display and right side is Quadlock

1 connect to 12 for B+
5 connect to 3 for gnd
19 connect to 9 for CAN H
20 connect to 10 for CAN L

I hope this helps for bench test.

I'm not so sure about this layout of the connections.
I haven't had time to dig deeper now, but at least on the power side it seems totally wrong.
From what I see:
On the display we have pins 3 and 5 at + 12V and pins 1 and 2 at GND.
On HU we have pin 15 at + 12V and pin 12 at GND.

Connections look like PHOTO 4, i test connection and 1 is brown wire - gnd-

-pin2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32 not connect

- pin 5 red wire - 12v-

- 19, 20 white and green wire together

- 22 , 23 green and white together

-25 green separate

-28 green separate

pin 19 white connect to radio pin 10 (MSCANL)
pin 20 green connect to radio pin 9 (MSCANH)

pin 22, 23 MSCAN to diagnostic conncector

I use a CD30 with BID display on the bench. The CD works without being paired with the display, only that after 10-15 seconds from the start it displays Display Safe. If pair dumps are put (with the same code) it will work on the bench, you just need to set the display index because otherwise it displays Display programming.Coding does not work on the table.
