xf jagaur egr fault and dsc limp

ok long ish story , another mechanic put customer on to me with xf 2.7 jag egr blank and delete , have engine light on and dsc light , but car broke down on the way to me and both egrs where stuck open , fitted blanks and started , flashed ecu tune and egr delete , no engine light or codes but dsc light still comes on and goes in to restricted performance and message on dash , tuner tried 8 files and even paid for one as his couldnt understand why now no fault codes not even dsc code even tho that was there before? this fault was there before , autel read is with original file , anyone had this / connected or disconnected egrs the same ? any ideas ?
