MB Vito eis dismantle plastic keyway

Hello guys,

I have encountered a few EIS with wd40 sprayed in.
Some i flushed with brakecleaner.

I now bought a eis, from a salvaged car.
This one was covered in motoroil.

I removed the plastic cover, and dissoldered the keyway part.
Can i open up that part, to clean?

I can not find much about this on ytube.
And i dont have one to spare.

Could be solved with soaking the EIS in a bath over night?

I know one company who also using. Dishwasher fluid and water first. To clean the PCB.
Before cleaning with other stronger things like ethanol.

But the EIS, have lots components delicate components. With copper wires. So it might be a higher risk, when doing these.
