View Full Version : Hi I have a Ducati Monster 696 2009 lost all keys can I use Zed Bull ?

I want to use my Zed Bull to reset the Immo and code a new key. However the Zed Bull and the EFfi 107 software does not list models that are newer than 2004 and my bike is 2009 Ducati Monster 696. Can I still use the Zed Bull if I am able to get the dump from eeprom? Is there a different software or hardware I should use?

Thank you. I have the dash open. I have a SOIC8. Should I read with SOIC8? Or connect to bike?

I2C readable with 4 wire
Vss
Vcc
Clock
Data
If pin1-4 = Vss the i2c channel =0
You read in 3.3V mode

Thank you f2f2 yes I think I read the data wrong. The code is not working. I read the data with AsProgrammer as 24C16 I2C. But maybe I need to read it as 16bit? Not sure.
When I manually enter the code the Zed Bull says "no transponder". The Zed Bull instructions say the code must include a "C1" byte in data string for ID12. Do I need to read it as 16bit?

If you use original Ducati key you can’t reprogram it (zedbull say no transponder)
You have to use T5 Id12

If you know pin code .
you can make key with your bike
use original 2 keys
