Cruise Control not working on Golf 5 2006

When i turn the ignition ON without starting the car, i can turn ON/OFF the cruise control. But when i start the car i can't turn ON/OFF the cruise control, and if i turn ON the Cruise Control while the car is not started and start the car, the light from the cruise control on the dashboard will turn OFF and you cant turn it on or off

What do i need to do to fix it?

I tried to clean the contacts from the switch, didn't worked. some people suggested me to change the steering wheel control module, but i'm not sure what type/model i need to order that will work within my car. Is it possible to know what model i have in my car without removing the steering wheel.. without opening the car? (there are so many on aliexpress but i don't know what item i need specific for my car, also if i get the swcm from another car is it possible to install on my car?)

Would i need VCDS to be able to program the SWCM or i can do it with delphi ds150E?

Is that the only code on the car? What about abs module? Any code there? From my experience SAS goes bad rarely. There is something else wrong with the car, i don't think you need a new SAS but i may stand corrected. When you check live data for all 4 abs sensors do you got valid data?

No. I bought it like this. I just added AUX input to the radio and programed it with delphi ds150E and rear door speakers.

Can i code it with Delphi DS150E? or i should buy VCDS to do only this function? (about vcds, not sure with what chip to get vcds atmega162 or stm32f405?)

The radio fault code is because i enabled the AUX input on my RCD300 Radio and the fault in the climate control system is erased i just fixed today the A/C

hello from what there is, maybe do the cruise control lever, it may be necessary to replace it

i opened, cleaned it the contacts from the switch, still not working.

then you still need to check the board, maybe you need to use a meter

what happens when you try to clear the code?

i suggest u use vaspc, vas5163 or odis and see if the fault code is the same

It stays. Its pernament fault code. That mean is something defective and needs replacement i think?
does these programs will work with Delphi ds150E adapter cable? or i need to purchase some other kind of cable adapter?
