hello I have a problem with the 1/2 FIS A3 8L lift display when it's hot you can't see anything when it's cold you can see everything well. Should it be replaced or maybe the problem is different?

If cluster is magneti marelli (jaeger) I recommend you replace the whole instrument cluster with vdo. if it is a brand vdo - yes 34 pin lcd display can be replaced (price ~50 euro)

Half fis, most probably is a MM. Replaced a lot of MM 4 Jaegger with another VDO, because that sh*t display.

if I buy a vdo full FIS I will have to do something in the meter or just soldering the eprom memory from the old jeager meter to VDO?

Old memory will not fit. Must read pin code from ecu or old clusters and must read pin from new vdo clusters and use vcds to reprogram it on the car

You can upgrade to full fis vdo. You need - new cluster, wipper stalk with bord computer buttons, 32 pin grey connector, programing new cluster, and wiring instalation.
