Hello guys.

I almost never do keys so I do not have to many tools for this , but today a friend called me and he said he lost ll keys to his Yaris.
VIN Number : VNKKL96360A115810

He ordered new key from Toyota thinking it will be plug and play :)

Now .. the car is at 100km away and I would not tell him to bring it if I can not help him.

What is the procedure in this case ?

Tools I have :
- FVDI
- Carprog
- Eeprom programmer
- Kess / Ktag / PcmFlash / MPPS

As I said, I do not have much experience in making programming new keys.. so not sure what is the right path ..

Read immo box eeprom and make virgin ?
Read ECU and make virgin ?
Program key by FVDI - Tango ?

Any push in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Thanks. Can be done with only one key ? I've read some topics saying some models need 2 keys.

I am a total noob when it comes to making keys :(
I got this new key from dealer and I need it injected into the dump so I can start the car or at least need to know the procedure to insert it or program it to the car.

Thanks in advance.

Well ... as noone had time to help I fixed myself.
For any others in same situation here is what I did :
Open Immo box, read eeprom 93c56
Used FVDI with Tango application and selected Key maker from tango menu.
Selected Toyota.
Open the dump of the immo box and selected to add Key 0.
Put the new Key in the Tango reader.
FVDI read the key and inserted the info into the dump.
Saved the dump.
Loaded the saved dump and put one more used key in Tango.
Added Key 1 in FVDI and inserded in the dump.
Saved the dump.
Wrote the modified dump in the eeprom and soldered back in immo box.
Conected immo box and car started.
