2011 hyundai i20 speedometre over reading

Howzit

Need some advice have this 2011 Hyundai i20 car came in dealer complaint the speedometer over reads so when you drive 100km/h on the speedo needle you actually are driving at 65km/h on the GPS
I opened up cluster to check for speedo needle position etc all seems fine
The dealer also tried by replacing the speed senor on the gearbox but problem still the same
Can you change these clusters from km/h to mph
Any advice appreciated :biggrin-new:

From what you comment, it is in miles but the odometer shows km, verify the rolling is the original if it is the original or it was changed...https://llantasneumaticos.com/size/hyundai/i20/2012/:wink:

did check the correct 185/60 R15 tyre and rim size fitted
could it be something in the 24c16 dump to check normally these clusters go by OBD quick and safe job
perhaps the speedo gear that runs in the gearbox is an incorrect size perhaps
will remove and compare by counting the amount of teeth
