Hi all, we’ve got an Audi A1 in with a faulty ecu and a replacement second hand one with exactly the same numbers, is it just a case of swapping the eeprom data for the immobiliser data as I’ve done before or is it not possible on these? Thank you

The ECU cannot be cloned. IMMO data must be transferred from the old eeprom to the new one manualy.

So I just read the eeprom off the old one and write it to the replacement? Or do you mean input the data manually

You can't write a new eeprom into an old ecu. Because there is OTP. Only immo data needs to be transferred. Try contacting a member spacer73 (https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/member.php/681091-spacer73)
