Hi,

I have CFFF error code in SRS airbag unit. So i bought CarProg and tried to read it. But it is not responding. Wiring seems to be correct. I am using A10 adapter, lifted reset pin as shown in manual, and got error reading chip.
Chip is MC9SDG128E 1L40K. And i cant find that exact chip in CarProg Volvo menu, so I am trying to understand where is problem.
Do I need to use 12V power supply to carprog, or USB connection is good for this operation. And is it possible to read that chip with CarProg?
How 3L40K differentiate from my 1L40K. There is only 3L40K in CarProg.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the link, but it did not resolve read problem.
As I understand, transistor pin needs to be lifted anyway. Checked connection on GND, BKGD, RST. They are soldered on back side.
+5V I soldered near chip on capacitor. But Still It can not to read it.
I am little bit confused. Which settings I need to use In carprog?

A little update. My A10 adapter was faulty, wire colors did not match pinout. Green was GND
