Hi Guys,
Got a Chevrolet Aveo with a strange problem.
4 times out 5 that i start the car it idles around 2000rpm and wont responding to the throttle pedal.
The 1 time it starts fine it stays fine, even after a very long drive (unless i shut it off and turn it back on).
Fault code is
P2106 Throttle Control System Performance -throttle limitation active.
I replaced throttle body as on of the 4 brushes was burnt.
Checked throttle pedal, Found nothing wrong.
Checked TB harness and connection. OK.
Replaced battery (same issue).
Do you think its a software issue from ECU? the occurrence of this fault looks to strange to me.
I made a back up of eeprom and flash using Ktag. But It just wont let me write any of the stand alone files (I get 'operation not allowed').
I need to make a full restore in order to write (and like this i can only put my original files unless some one can prove a file).
