Hi guys,

i am running on my 330d E46 2003 (204hp stick-shift) a piggy-back additional ECU (was installed, when i bought the car 5 years ago). I really like the power, it runs smooth, but it makes a lot of smoke when accelerating.

I don't like that, so i accelerate most of the times not very hard to be safe with smoke ;-(

As far as i can understand, the car runs fine, no problems at all, so i am not sure, if i can achieve same power with real ecu tuning and less smoke?
The car has no particle filtre, from factory (only Euro-3). And i am happy not to have one :-)

How much power is possible, with no bigger modifications and very less smoke?
I only would like to have EGR off, nothing else. Ok, maybe sport air filtre. All other should be stock.

I am able to read by Kess V2 clone, but first want to know your professional opinions!!!

Thank you in advance!

Christian

Here it is. Should be stock, as there was this piggy back box...

Would be more than enough, if i could mostly accelerate without black smoke behind me :-)
