help me learn to use ch341A mini programmer USB to read and write eeprom

hello

have this USB with eeprom clip. I was able to read m95128 (first subject) but wasnt able to write. im using CH341A programmer v1.0 (developed by Shichang Zhuo)
this software is able to read but cant write (i get file doesn't match chip error). I tried using online modifications to be able to deliver 5v to eeprom but same issue
using regular ch341a programmer (skygz software) didnt help, didnt even read the chip.

what do you guys use? i mainly work on stmicro chips if its eeprom application.

Hi.
Reading eeprom clips often causes problems. Even if you can read it later, there's a typing problem. it is best to desolder the system and then read / write.
And then this programmer only 24 eeprom family and spi flash 25...

Yes you didn't say how you tried to write on the chip. There are different ways to use the ch341a
