ECU Milage EDC17 2.0 TDI safed ? How to modify ?

Hi,

the broad opinion was, that EDC17 of a 2005 Audi A3 2.0TDI doesnt save the milage.

So yesterday i found out, that Vcds is able to read it. It got a new ECU and I want to synchronize it.


Can anybody give me a safe answer, where this car saves the milage and if its possible to change ECU milage with digiprog or MPPS v16 ?

Digiprog can't to do edc17.
About Mpps .......Question for you ,....have this tool option for read eeprom from this ecu?

Ok. I understand - i Like answers like that. So I have to get a cheap tool for Reading/writing eeprom. Any suggestions ? And do you know, if any other control units (e.g. DSG) in that car save the milage ?

Ok but I couldnt figure out the solution can you explain please ?

I just have MPPS and Digiprog - I would buy new Hardware, no problem. On Top of that Soldering and electronics in general are no problem to do.

It should be EDC16 ECU then. Easiest way, open ecu and read 95320 eprom and upload dump. Or try Digiprog OBD

I am so SORRY, that was my mistake ! Of course it is EDC16 !

So in DigiProg i choose EEPROM and 95320, right ? Is there any tutorial which part of the EEPROM File contains the milage ?
