Motorcycle: Yamaha BT 1100, year 2004/2005
I found only only eeprom chip inside the dash and it's 24C02. I read it using two different readers and the hash that I got doesn't seem to be like the others I found on here.
Am I reading the wrong chip or what could be the problem?
I attached the file and photo of dash
current mileage is 79117 km

I also looked under the LCD screen and there isn't any eeprom chips there

Mileage is @ 0008-000b and 0020-0023 inverted hex to decimal
00 0C 12 87 = 791175
Don't know if there is a checksum or not.

egh, it has got checksum :(
Can anyone help me out with it?
old mileage: 79 117 km
new mileage: 33 238 km
I tried many times, using different mileages, but dash always shows 00000. When I program the old eeprom bin, it shows the old mileage. That means that there is a checksum, but I've never had any experience with it.
I attached the old file with 79 117 km again
