View Full Version : Any advice for keeping FRM3 safe

Just paid a guy to flash my FRM3 as the Xprog clone I got was total shit. It looks like he's accidentally stripped one of the pads off so unlikely to get flashed again plus I don't really fancy having to pay for it again anyway. I'm still working on the car so may need to disconnect the battery again at some point (or accidentally short something) so has anyone any advice on how to protect it from getting corrupted again?

Ta.

Low voltage is most common cause of corruption, make sure your battery is good or even better change it if its getting old.

Besides taking care of voltage regularly delete error messages. Error messages can fill the memory and that can cause problems.
