hi there if i go to breakers yard and pick up key and ecu put it on my clio would it need coded im not sure any help cheers

If you take the key and ecu (i suppose that by ecu you mean Engine Control Module)take also bcm and you don't have to worry about codding

Without any further info (model year) on the car it is guessing. But it can range from no problem, to needs coding and even it's not possible.
