There is a BMW E46 320d 2000 136 hp. Its high pressure fuel pump recently broke and a local garage repaired it. The car starts but the engine is running rough and there is a huge lack of power.
Fault codes:
26 Mass Air Flow
48 DDE: control, timing device
I read this thread (https://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/threads/320d-fuel-pump-timing-code-is-48-control-timing-device.173633/)and I replaced injector 4, just like the article said. However, the problem still remains.
Do I need to do adaptation for the new fuel pump or the new injector? If so, can I do it through BMW ISTA+?
