AUDI A3 8L920900M DASH REPAIR 999999 km

HI

I had to change cluster for my customer because old dash was dead
to match new dash odo with old one i did a milage change by OBD with VVDI2
and result is that car display shows 999999 km

to make it harder - have no backup for MCU eeprom and don't remember orginal mileage


car is AUDI a3
cluster: Magneti Marelli 8L0 920 900 M
MCU : HC912DG128A mask 3K81D sw.ver. 8.55
new mileage is 265000 km

can't believe that expensive tool failed with this job. 999... means odometer checksum is wrong, try another recalibration wtih other tool. in your dump mileage is 344 362
