Hello all, I need to check the Soft coding on this vehicle and can't find any info on it.
Old engine ECU was fried, unable to extract any info from it. Exchange ECU fitted and coded in. The vehicle runs but has the following issues;
1. ECU permanently logs code for engine speed signal, although new genuine sensor fitted and live data in engine ECU shows correct engine speed
2. Oil pressure light on dash flashing, although oil pressure has been checked with gauge, and live data in instuments shows oil pressure OK
3. Live data in instruments shows no engine speed from ECU.
I have some possibilities in mind;
1. Soft coding is wrong in ECU
2. New (exchange) ECU is faulty
3. We stripped the dash to extract the vehicles original pin code in order to code ECU, we may have damaged something, although we have re-stripped it and checked and all seems OK.
Before I move forward, I would like to check the coding, any help would be much appreciated. Log attached
