can some1 tell me what am i doing wrong? Have dream connected to internet and pc but can`t get the mount on:( Done all just like it says in the guide but every time i press mount comes back with CIFS mount <ip.address.of.pc> recordings/hdd/movie FAILED.
I am at it for a good hour already Just cant get it wright:hmpf:

Think I had that or something damn near it , anyway I changed
the name of share folder on on my pc to movie and everything worked fine

Make sure you use the correct spelling etc. Upper case lower case.
Even when you type in the username and password 4 your account user.
You can name the folder whatever you like.
Mines is "dream"

Do it throught the web interface and type in everything as it shows here;

i am using vista for the past month on my pc,maybe there is some sort of a protection for shares folder that xp hasn`t got?

Cant see it to be honest. Make sure everything your typing in is in the right place.
I found it a wee bit hard to get the dk image to share hdd/movie so i just shared with /hdd on its own.
So when i go into file mode i just click hdd then all my shared files come up.
This could be the problem your encountering.
Doesnt need to be hdd/movie you use to share.
Just use another root my man.

If you followed the tute exactly it should work no problem,
you sure your using the correct user name and password (thats if your using a p/word)

Think that proves its something your your not doing right,
go back to square one and follow tute exact
