Hello,
I need some help with a Skoda Octavia AXR.
Long story short, the car now has a ARL hybrid turbo(with 2.5 internals), and would like to make a beautiful remap to push it to maybe 160-170 hp(stock injectors for now).
Can a good man help me with a good file? Not for free for this kind of work, of course.

Thank you.

test and report

Hello. The turbo is up and running and the reflash went without any hiccups.
The car runs good, but the turbo kicks in very high, maybe 3000 rpm. The performance is so-so, but will keep testing the car for now.
Thank you again.

I will have to check, but I think it's the stock sensor.

Thanks man, will try ASAP. Should I swap the MAP also for 3bar?

on this soft it is not in tolerance 1.5B if you want to go for more you need a stronger injector

I understand. Will change it anyway, for future proofing :D
Thanks again.

I don't have a sensor on this soft because after replacement it needs to be calibrated again in the software to show it correctly. How do you like soft? Have you tried good?

It's been a rainy day here, so no trials today with the old beast. I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Sorry, but the Ecu crashes with thie file, and the car no longer starts. Had to recover the ECU with MPPS :(

recalculate the checksum. I use software that will do it for me when uploading. kess galleto...

Checksum seems ok in WinOls, and I flashed with Kess. But after flash, I had to restore the Ecu on the bench with MPPS, Kess no longer worked

then there must have been some problem in the recording I never had a problem either. I'll take another look at it.

838132 try it again and kess has the option to recover. I have tried it without opening the ecu. no pass

Thank you. I know kess can recover, but I didn't had any luck.

Nop, no go. As soon as I write the file, the ecu goes offline, the car doesn't start anymore and I cannot access the ecu with vcds. I have flashed with Kess and also MPPS bench.
I reflash stock file with MPPS on bench and the ecu comes alive again :(

I do not understand that. you haven't tried mpps to write mod file? I've never had this problem

pupiilov

I had tried with Kess and also with MPPS to write the file. Will try again with kess, just a "partial" write.

try it. with edc15 I never had a problem either, it just happened to me that I couldn't write a given unit in one car using galleto only kessom. after setting up the unit in another car, he could also write in the galletom and kess no problem I don't get it to this day. apparently there was a problem in the car

It's frustrating. Not working again. But I also discovered that I can rewrite the Ecu to stock with MPPS by Obd, not bench(despite Kess giving error that it cannot communicate with the ecu anymore). :((

With any tool. Have you read it before? Try to read mpps and put the file here You can write again with kessom ori.file?

pupiilov
1st October, 2021, 04:15 PM
No, Kess does not want to write the ori file back. Only MPPS.
Here is original file, read with MPPS

Ok, I think I have found the problem. I think your file is modded with VagSuite, which seems to have big problems with the latest 019PB ECU found in the AXR engine, to be more precise, it screws up checksum really bad. Can you please retry modding the file, but with the autocorrect checksum disabled in VagSuite? I will try to redo the checksum afterward in Efisio or WinOLS.
I attached the first original untouched file I have of this ECU.
Thank you for your patience.

Ok, finally got to the bottom of this. It is a checksum error after all. It seems that for some specific EDC 15 ECU's(like my 019PB AXR), you have to manually do some HEX editing before fixing the checksum. I have attached a screenshot with the edit I made. After that I fixed the checksum with Efisio and I could write the new map with no issue. The car started, no more problems.

Thanks for the help again. Btw, is there any better map in the latest archive? I flashed the popcorn version for now. Seems to run great.

so you rewrote the data at that address. from the original file and fixed the checksum automatically. it will definitely help me in the future. it is not possible to make a stronger map for your car because you are limited by the injectors and the map sensor. use at least an arl injector. but be careful you need to mount the bip map. start and injection duration plus all axes. or easier to buy ecu from arl- asz engine:peaceful:

Yes, I have manually modded the map at that specific address.

In the future I am planing to get ARL injectors and intercooler. It's a fun project, I got the car basically for free, but not wanting to turn it in a money pit :D

Thanks again.
