Hello everyone, So im new to all this eeprom/programming stuff. I bought a jprog that just came in today. I know i have endless things to learn but i tried to do a toyota corolla 2014 cluster today and i wasn't successful at all. Also, i wanted to read a c46/56 EEEPROM out a nissan, but all i got was a SOIC adapter in the package. can anyone please direct me to maybe any other tools i need to buy where to buy them. or any advice? Thank you in advance

you don't need another tool have 8 vias flat cable and ready to solder, any nissan have a test point from the back you can use test lead provided, look under help folder to find pictures ilustrated.

I think that the problem is not the ability to hold a iron solder in hands to desolder eeprom.

Luckily I was able to figure it out. Eeprom didn’t need to be removed. Thank you for your input anyways. Btw you’re not wrong
