Are there any way to virgin remotes/keys from new Citroen/Peugeot models, so they can be programmed again in another car?

Thanks M8's

I have made some research about PSA remote

New, virgin allready cuted key blade, bought at Peugeot dealer for 82?, not expencive if I compare it with chineze one: http://www.ecutool.com/Peugeot-Remote-Key-2-Button-Mh-433-307-with-Groove_4803.html (http://www.ecutool.com/Peugeot-Remote-Key-2-Button-Mh-433-307-with-Groove_4803.html)
50? china fake key + 15? cost for cutting + 15? shipping +costums fee (and I ask myself how long will it work)

I have read it with Z.B. before & after program with diagtool
Key contains PCF7941 chip, it was allready pre-coded
BSI and KEY is from Johnson control, Valeo is different...

I think if you take some used key, replace PCF7941 with virgin one and take my "pre-coded.BIN" file then write it with Hitag, you will get key ready for program...

of course it's impossible....thats because nobody tried to figure it out....alot of stuff we do was once impossible but applying our combined knowledge and experience with a little curiosity makes things 'possible'.:trytofly:

You can't program used key from another car but you can re-program your keys!

Sorry mate you are wrong it is possible
to program a 2nd hand remote (Peugeot / Citroen flip keys 2 or 3 button)

Before you say the main chip is locked once programmed (i know) but there is a way round this.....

You need to take the 7941 chip off the circuit board
put a new one on the circuit board & its a virgin remote....

Then you need to pre-program the chip via hitag 2 with the central locking......

& bob's your uncle (a brand new remote ready to be programmed)

The downside is there are 5 or 6 different remote types & the code's for these remotes are not all the same

Surely cannot be many of these vehicles still around the UK and what is the Customer going to pay for a remote key I had a problem in the past on a Peugeot 206 and found out there are 6 different remotes for these cars I personally do not spend any of my time on this
As most of my customers want to pay peanuts for keys.

still plenty of 206 about and old 307 , i still see them , the 6 different remotes for 206 are simple enough to work out which you have and as the old pre 2002 ones are all but discontinued they often pay well. with good tools like abrites able to read pin by obd on them its a simple job.
i made new keys on akl last month for an old 1970 capri and a very old mk2 cortina no one else locally would do it . i can make more on these jobs than customers will pay for alot of modern cars due to the beer money boys and the race to the bottom.

This is okay if get genuine
Custumer willing to pay price agreed
I personally now take full price of remote key if I do not have that remote in stock too many time wasters phoning every single locksmith in your area trying to save 5pounds.

on some cars old and new genuine oem is the only way if honouring a 12 month guarantee . i lose alot of jobs on quote because i wont compramise quality to be cheaper , despite losing alot on quote i pick up alot of these at later date when they fail.

some aftermarket are good and you can use without compramise , but some you cant , its our job and reputation to know which is which .

it frustrates me that when a main stealer is £300 for a key with a 7 to 21 day wait for key and have to recover car to them , why do some do aftermarket keys at £80 ? wheres the business sense in that ?
