Hi. I have a 66 reg 320d to adjust. Currently has 47500 miles on it i need it at 147000 miles. Opened instrument cluster and it has a square emulator usprog.ru 35160 v2 soldered on. I have tried reading with r270 and vvdi prog as 060 chip and cant read with either. If i try and adjust miles in fem module to 147000 will dash automatically match?
The car was bought with an emulator fitted so dont have the original eeprom.

So fem can only be set to 0 and must match dash? Original eeprom isnt present so no way to adjust

your missing the point if it has a emulator in the dash it isnt talking to the fem. you must try and find a way of programming the emulator , or i guess replacing the dash with new or if possible virgin. must admit have tended to steer clear of newer bms because of these problems.

this cluster can be done without any problems, without any emulators

If you have bmw explorer you can change eprom and bypass chip id.

Buy a used cluster and code it with esys. Enter the kombi module and load cafd. Greetings

I make these cars with ACDP for the FEM module, the speedometer is fixed with VVDI and eeprom with VVDI emulator too. Then I finish with BMW Explorer. As your colleagues have told you, if you do not have a good tool, it is better not to touch the F series and even less the G series. Greetings to all

As said above, If you have BMW Explorer, remove emulator, fit new eeprom, and bypass chip ID. If you dont have BMW Exlorer, you can buy a used cluster for quite cheap. If you buy pre 2016 dash, you can change the mileage on original eeprom. Post 2016 you will need to replace the eeprom and write old chip id.
