HI

GOT MY IPHONE , PLUG IT IN FOR ITUNES AND IT DOWNLOADED 3.1.3 ??? NOW IT WONT DO ANYTHING , NOT JAILBROKE OR UNLOCKED ?? DO I NEED NEW SOFTWARE ??

It is new software, if the iphone isn't jailbroken or unlocked then it doesn't matter anyway, it will work fine.

If you want to jailbreak it and unlock it then you need Blackrain.

Then you have just undone the Jailbreak.
The only way I know now is "Redsn0w" to jailbreak in again.

hi, as far i know the proper jailbreak process for 3.1.3 is not out yet

I think your right, even the "Redsn0w 0.94" will only jailbreak the 2g.

You can get the 3g onto the 3.13 firmware but you have to make a custom firmware first..

Just restoring my apps back on my jailbroken 3GS, used sn0wbreeze-V1.5.1, then used ultrasnow to unlock it.
I wouldnt recommend anybody updating to 3.1.3 as yet, wait for something simpler to use !!
I'll report back once my phone is fully loaded with all my $hit.

How did you get on with sn0wbreeze, I have seen a lot of people getting stuck on that m8.. :-)

i have tried sn0wbreeze , tried downgrading tried everthing , but nothing ?? wont let me !!!

why have ap8ple upgraded ?? is it for this reason ??

Of course it is.
Apple don't want you with a jailboken iphone so that you can get all their Apps for free do they. :hmmmm2:

Sn0wbreeze worked a treat, only prob I ran into was with blackra1n, once jailbroken I tried unlocking with it, all i got was a snowflake, wouldnt start etc, did a restore again and this time unlocked with ultrasnow as I'm still on the oldest modem firmware, just installing all apps/music etc.
Will take a wee while to restore it all Ian.
It works a treat imho.

(OLD BOOTROM ONLY. If the 4th/5th digits of the serial # are before 40 then you should have the old bootrom. If your current jailbreak is tethered DO NOT try this.)

yes, but only jailbreak, no unlock. sn0wbreeze v1.5.1 does that. i did it myself with my 3g baseband 05.11.07 works fine but i needed an unlock so i downgraded to 3.1.2 again with sn0wbreeze v1.2 (for OS 3.1.2). i i think i was able to downgrade just because jailbraking with sn0wbreeze didn't update to newer baseband.

So if u are 05.11.07 and u don't need unlock i think u are good to go ahead and jailbreak ;)
