Hello members aboard:
I have a Porsche panamera 2012 diesel engine with a DPF restricted code. This car was brought to me from another mechanic, who had removed the DPF.
I have tried to do a regeneration without success.

My question is: can anyone give me software version of the ECU with deleted DPF?
Also, can I read and write ECU with KTag?

hello mate, how do you want to do a regeneration if you have emptied the dfp?
This mounts edc17cp44.
If I remember correctly, with kess you can do it by vr.
With ktag you can read and write.
For someone to pass you a file you have to upload more data.
it is best if you read your ecu and hang the file.

Can I read ECU by BDM? I have both Kess and ktag.
Which one of them is easiest way to read ECU and send file here?
I don't understand what you mean by VR sir.

VR file can get only if you have geniue Kess it reads Ecu info and try to find file in database but i would not recomend that the safest thing to do is to read on table with ktag. Ktag is best for these stuff and safest. Read file with ktag on table and send us here we gonna try find your file or to activate in your file dpf.

Can I read it via BDM with just an adapter using ktag? It's not always easy doing it by tricore and pin out.

you can't read edc17 on bdm pads like edc16 , you can read/write with ktag on tricore boot mote

What I forgot to mention is that, the car is in limp mode. This is why customer brought the car.
Why I was trying to do a regeneration is so as to take the car out of limp home mode.
The exhaust port is empty, yet the sensor reports restricted DPF.
So I felt the regeneration would have convinced the engine computer to come out of limp home mode.

I saved file separately and combined. The one I uploaded here is combined. So I read it twice to achieve this.
I have epr and MPC. Should I upload the MPC?

Update:
Members, I fixed the ECU, after writing the file given me by dtip, the DPF restriction message gone,.
However, vehicle now misfires, followed by a cloud of smoke from the exhaust.
I managed to drive the car to see if it is out of limp mode, but it still drove same way.
Please can the file be tuned again? Should I upload another MPC file I saved the 3rd time?
I will grately appreciate help.

You don't need to upload nothing, your last mpc read is fine.
You should reset dpf soot with diagnostics before write and disconnect dpf pressure sensors. Also are you sure you don't have some other engine problems when missfiring ?

Limp mode is because of dpf and egr bro . Reset dpf unplug sensors and write solution you have i think that you need egr off too
On this models there is not enoug air that is why smoke is coming out .
Someone must look his map and see is map original or not .
Misfire ? Hmmm injectors maybe

Okay, I will disconnect dpf sensor tomorrow. Regeneration may not be possible now I guess.
Engine ran amazingly smooth before the job. Problem was no sharp movement and no kickdown.

Update:
I disconnected the dpf sensor. Car stumbled just like yesterday, then became stable for a while.
Now rough idles and obviously wont runnfast.
White smoke has continued to come out from the exhaust.
Engine does not rev up fast as it should.
No fault codes.
The dpf delete was done accurately, but I think something still needs to be done please!

I have been sitting in the car while running the engine for long time.
What I noticed is that, the car became stable after about 30 minutes of idle.
Then I turned car off and back on. Still idled normal.
Then I decided to turn off and wait for about 20min before starting again.
Rough idle for about 5 min, then normal, with constant smoke.
No fault codes. Do I need egr delete too?

Try disconnecting dpf temp sensor if still same...

Flash ori file, reset dpf soot with diag tool (install of new dpf filter procedure) . Then flash dpf off file.

Update:
Attention: dtip,
I did as you said, discounted temp sensor. Car fired up with power.
I drove car and it took off like a jet!
Problem now is, after driving for a while, coil like starts flashing and car goes into limp mode.
Stop, turn engine off, back on, and normal again. Then same thing repeats.
