Would be greatly appreciated.

I got a 07 fiesta with a crashed airbag module. Its like one ive never seen before. Its a black sealed module, do i need to carefully cut a section out?Or can i read dump with correct pinouts with one of my programmers?
I dont know what Eeprom or Mcu is inside.
These are the numbers on the module

G1UHF
6S6T 14B056K

have heard that people can do these from the pins but have never done it myself, i always cut a section out and desolder chip, if you look at ecu with writing facing you, cut a hole on the left side of the sticker, make the hole the same height as the sticker, and from the left edge of module to the edge of sticker. keep it as neat as possible then use hot air blower to melt back together and smooth it while its hot.. inside is 95160 chip, if you post file i have most files for these, these type of module is fitted in transit also...

HI.
With carprog you can read or write dump in this procesor through obd2 conector. But you can also do it the way melerman said. Try this.

do you have to de-solder the soic chip?
has anyone tried with something like this Programmers IN-CIRCUIT SOIC Test Clip (http://www.tek-tronics.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=37&products_id=53)

from my experience you don't get a true reading with chip on the board, its easier to take it off and be sure of your readings...

And you may corrupt the eeprom too, then your fcuked! Or maybe not because someome on here will have a dump for you.
Just remove it mate,much safer.

Well here is a photo if anyone else needs it.
with carprog you can do this ecu without open, you only have to connect 3 wire on connector.
