Hello. I am replacing a me7.5 ecu and need immo off. For this to work, do i have to solder the chip, or is there any smart tricks to read/write immo off to the chip?

1 - open ecu
2 - desolder eeprom
3 - read in programmer
4 - post dump here

the immobilizer is in the eeprom so kess and mpps wont help u , you need tool to read eeprom and send dump here and we will do immo off , and u can write back and start the car ,and also when ecus get burnt most of the time the eeprom data is still fine, so try swapping eeprom first

Maybe you adapted ecu to dash. But immo off from within VCDS... curious. ;)

You could just move phisically eeprom to donor ecu and avoid replying all day long on this thread .............................just saying :D

True true, just wasn't sure, or had solder to do the job. But everything is good, vcds saved my ass :D
