Hey guys,

I have just today bought a dream box 800 hd clone, the problem is apart from basic pc skills, i know nothing about these things, and dont have a CLUE where to start!

Would someone be so kind and explain exactly what it is i have to do - from start to finish, to get as many channels as possible on the box - and please remember im not all that computer literate, so keep it simple if possible.

Ideally id like a step by step guide of a) how to get it working b) what i need to download c) how to install it d) how to get it on a screen.

I know this may seem silly to some of you - however i really want to be able to use this, and given the expert knowledge you all appear to have i thought this post would be appropriate.

I have also heard of card sharing however have no idea what this is if anyone could shed any light on this, thanks.

no one gona lead lead you by the hand m8, your gona have to read the guides theres loads of sites out there, have a go, and when you get stuck feel free to ask what your stuck on. and make sure your dish is correctly alligned before you do anything. and cardsharing cannot be discussed on here, googe is your freind.

Not exactly the answer i was looking for - the point is it seems to be a minefield and i dont even know where to begin.

I apprfeciate ur point about cardsharing, so if we ignore that id just like to know how to go about setting it up

is there an image on it? i.e. what comes on the tv screen when you switch it on?, if not download dreamup, flash an image on using dream up and a null modem cable, thats your first step. theres a sticky at the top of the page.

have you got your dish up?, is it motorised/fixed/monoblock? if all thats up and running your not far away. !!READ THE STICKYS.!!
