W230 EIS problem

Hi!

A customer recently contacted me with an with an issue with his W230. Sometimes when turning the key, the engine doesn't crank. Other times it cranks OK. Can you give me any pointers if i need to change the EIS or it can be repaired?

There is no way to find the problem with the right methods anymore?

How did you know that the problem is in eis ?

It was just a guess. I'll run some diagnostics.

should do a Diagnstic when car desn't star with xentry or launch and go to EIS module and check terman if key work fine with the EIS , thatr firsy then go to other part of car

Well, I finally had the chance to inspect the car and the key. It was just a broken solder in an aftermarket key.
