Sprinter 413 CDI dash tachograph

I want to adjust km for sprinter 413 CDI . It have a tachograph Kienzle (1324 A0004467133)
I open the dash, find the 93C66, and modify it out of circuit (to 205.000km). I modify in row 2D : 64 to 20 (I heard that's the mod for tacho OFF)
I resolder eeprom and mount the dash, and display is OK, but after riding a bit, I noticed that the km in the dash don't rise but the km in the tachograph rise normally.
Then I disconnect the tachograph, but always the same problem: the km in the dash don't rise.


So how can I adjust this km? is there something else to do or modify in tachograph too? Or the modification is only in tacho but not in the dash?


It's not problem for me if tacho sy connected or not, just want km adjusted in dash without problem.

Just change dump from dash without tco and job done.... That dash does not have immo data inside.

Hi. When sprinter have tachograf, cluster speed take from tachograf who have speed sensor on back side in gearbox.When you remove tachograf and reprogaming cluster speer take from ABS.If sprinter no have instaled ABS when drive car speed and km don't increase.The solution is to change km on tahograf ( inside have eeprom 24c04) and km in cluster automaticali wiil be changed.

I try to disassembly the tacho but I am afraid to broke something. Did you have some picture or details for this, to do it well?

Change dump in dash, remove tco... Simple as that

Sory but no have picture but this is simple need to remove display ,the display is conect to tahograf with two skrews next you remove plate one way is need to desolder 12 pins for motore or remove plate with motors and eeprom is mounted in down side in plate.This is all.

finally I succes to disassembly the tacho. and I find the 24C04.
this is the original file with 428193km, and the adjusted 205181km.
is the modification good or is there anything else to modify?

Yes this is solution and your calculation is good just write new km and all will be ok.

All is Ok now.
Just a little detail to need. I set the time and it's Ok, but for the date I have try many several time to find the buttons combination to set it but nothing. can someone knows how to set the date on this tacho? it was reset to 01-01-95 when I did not touch anything except the mileage
