Can this RCD 310 fit on Passat B6(3C) 2006 whithout it draining the battery

I tried putting this radio on the car but it isnt going into sleep mode and its draining the battery(100mA).
Is it just that it cant fit on this car because its a newer model or is it not enough to just instal it on the car
