vw passat smart key problem

hello all!
I have a probelem with the vw passat smart key not unlock the stering lock, year of car 2007.
the remote work normally, the baterry of remote are ok 3 volts.
the sencond key start normally the car.
how to resolve the problem please.
I need the solution urgently please.

Hi Cartech

Have you Diagnose to see if you have any fault codes ?

It could be the Key is faulty but, also those cars are known as having a common faults.

So try to read fault codes in Immobiliser, Instrument, and Engine ECU as well and post those fault codes here.

Also after you have read cleared them, use the faulty key again and see which codes are coming back.
