Alright lads

Is there anyone out there who can make this BSI virgin for me please?
Its from a 2001 reg 1.6 peugeot 307 with a HC912DG128 chip inside.
Does not seem to be any software that supports 912 to make it virgin, only the 95160.

Much appreciated.

Going to have to say, if nobody gives you a good answer by monday, try emailing these/plead ignrance and see if you can see what they say!
Peugeot Parts For Sale (http://www.peugeotpartsforsale.com/store/index.php)

Just worth a try, download a new bsi, open, read it get local sign shop to make new 'warranty void' stickers, package up, send back, get no refund, moan to mastercard, get refund, everybody's happy, except mastercard.

Deleting the PIN code it will not pass the checksum, BSI will automatically go to virgin mode, delete the vin, and may be programmed as a virgin BSI

Cammy, can you explain this further. I just used Ezber's file and it worked o.k but PPS was struggling to id it. Can you file be used freely or is it tailored to adams original (ie. mileage etc)

Thanks

yes

3 things are important :
-checksum
-mileage
-ID

- the upper block is always same so checksum is same for vigin.
- mileage can be set to 0 and can be in different addres in different versions.
- ID (actually part number) must be same ,else some configurations will be written in wrong addres. And PPS will have troubles autodetect version.

Thanks Cammy, thats cleared things up. Out of curiosity you don't know whats stored in the main (128k) flash memory. Is it part of the running software or are config options etc in there. Was tempted to go in but didn't want to mess the job up....

Not any config is in flash. I mean programmable config. In this case it's static

Ofcourse it's written and compiled especially for the board version.
So flash is not always the same and can have different components connected to in/outputs. But thats up to the developers to sort out.
