View Full Version : Grande punto 1.2 iaw5SF3.MC Ecu replace with M1 or M2

Hello,
we just got this car with damaged ecu which is IAW5SF3.MC, this ecu is hard to find, meanwhile IAW5SF3.M1 and M2 are very available. abd They have same HW 300, DO32, I would like to know if they can replace MC one. Best Regards.

What tools have you got for reading eep and cloning?

Try cloning. I did it once .mr on .m2 and it worked. If you make it virgin, this ecu will not autocode. That is from my experrience.
Post edit. Fvdi was usefull, too. If the pcb is the same, all is good. There are hw differences on coil drivers. Some ecm have 2 drivers instead of 4.
