reflash the image m8

is that the only option I have ?

that was to be my final option if all else fails, but seems to be the only option

Now i see.

ftp to your dreambox, and right click on the folder you wanting to ftp into and go to CHMOD , and change the number to 755. also highlight all the files in that folder to CHMOD them 755 too to make sure.

try that.

done all that get this error (using Flash FTP)

[R] 257 "/var/tuxbox/config/enigma"
[R] SITE CHMOD 755 services
[R] 550 SITE CHMOD command failed.

Yeh I think it's went read-only. Sometimes that happens for no reason.

The /tmp folder should still allow files to be transferred to it because it uses a different memory location which will enable you to transfer your backup.img file and use the FlashImage option in the User Features menu (Yellow).

Try Deleteing some files From the folder
If you cant add or delete
Its gone read only
Time for a new image
Or reflash of the Same one ......Paul:shakehands:

Or you could try a factory reset.
